Mercury has gone retrograde. Try not to panic.
On May 29, Mercury went retrograde in Gemini – and it will stay that way until June 22. It’s also been dubbed the strongest retrograde of 2021 by Astrology.com’s senior astrologer, Narayana Montúfar. No big deal.
The next three weeks may feel like chaos. Miscommunications, technology mishaps, transportation going haywire, and texts from your ex are all to be expected during this frenzy-filled period.
While this astrological phenomenon may have you breaking a sweat, don’t let yourself stress too much over it. Although Mercury retrograde is commonly associated with mishaps and general disarray, this is the perfect time to reflect and reset.
We’ve got a few tips to help you survive the next few weeks.
1. Don’t text your ex.
Mercury retrograde has a funny way of making people feel nostalgic and impulsive.

This is the time to take care of yourself and take time to wrap up any loose ends you may have in relationships or different projects.
4. Set plans – but don’t make any rash decisions.
While this is the best time to relax, reflect, and plan for the future, do not — and we repeat, DO NOT — make any rash decisions.
If you are seriously contemplating quitting your job, wait a few weeks to make sure you have the necessary means to do so. If you can’t stand it a second longer and you absolutely have to leave, just be prepared for some possible chaos surrounding work.
