Top 5 Songs with Crimson and Clover in Them

Have you ever wondered how we picked our name? Well, we're here to tell the story. Our name came from a song called Praise Chorus, but Crimson and Clover actually shows up in a ton of badass songs. Here are our top 5.

1. Praise Chorus by Jimmy Eat World
RE: Our namesake. It's our number one with Crimson and Clover in the name, because it hits all the right early 2000's vibes. "Kick start my rock and roll heart (Crimson and clover, over and over)".

2. Crimson and Clover by Tommy James and the Shondells
"Ah now I don't hardly know her, but I think I can love her, Crimson and Clover..." Possibly the originator of the phrase Crimson and Clover, this retro song by Tommy James and the Shondells hits all the right notes. Plus, we've fallen in love with plenty of people we don't know, so it's highly relatable.

3. Crimson and Clover cover by Joan Jett/Dolly Parton
Ok, how could we not include these? Just because they're covers doesn't mean we love them any less. Also, can you think of two more badass women than Joan Jett and Dolly Parton?? I think not.

4. Venice Bitch by Lana Del Rey
"Me myself, I like diamonds, my baby crimson and clover..." Need we explain why we love Lana Del Rey's Venice Bitch? I think not. Perfect for when you're in your deep in your feelings, and perhaps glamorously driving a car down an open road with the perfect outfit on.

5. California Waiting by Kings of Leon
"Little Mona Lisa layin' by my side, "Crimson and Clover" playing overtime". Upbeat AF, just in time for summer. We give it a 10/10.

Do you know of any other Crimson and Clover songs? We'd love to hear about them!
